Your advance Nurse Practitioner studies offer you various specialty tracks such as Adult Psychiatric & Mental Health Nursing, Geriatric Nursing, Family Nursing, Women’s Health & Child care, Oncology, Pediatric Nursing, Gerontological nursing, School Nursing and various other specialty and sub specialty tracks. You are required to attend both classroom course instruction and extensive clinical experience from accredited Nurse Practitioner Schools that are either campus based or online distance learning classes.


The credential of certified Nurse Practitioner can only be offered to you, if you earn NP Certification through recognized certifying agencies. In United States of America, the certification offered by  two nationally recognized certifying agencies that can grant you certification and credential of Nurse Practitioners and they include the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) are recognized nationally and you must pass the certification exam of these agencies to earn the NP certification. But, the eligibility to sit in the exam will only be granted if you meet the education and other requirements..
