Those who are interested to become a nursing assistant in California are required to go through the fingerprinting process imposed by the California law. This fingerprinting process is required to check your criminal record. You are allowed to become a certified nursing assistant in California only if your record is clear. Those nursing assistants who have submitted an application for the fingerprinting process is not allowed to take up the CNA training program.
