Delaware is a small state located in the northwestern part of the United States and has been home to one of the largest chemical company in the world Du Pont.  Delaware history is one of that starts early on. The institution has the highest pass rate in terms of those who choose to take their National Council Licensure Examinations or the NCLEX in short. This is a necessary exam that you need to take before you start practicing as a registered nurse or RN in short. You also have the same college in Dover with a pass rate of about eighty seven percent as well as the one in Georgetown with a pass rate of eighty percent. All the results are from the 2010 exams. All the Delaware Technical and Community Colleges are accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission commonly referred to as NLNAC. This is an agency that is part of the National League for Nursing which is also provides support to its members.

For those who wish to take a Bachelor’s Degree course in Nursing in Delaware then you have the option of studying at the University of Delaware which is located at Newark. The institution had the greatest pass rate in terms of the 2010 NCLEX score at eighty eight percent. The university nursing program has accreditation from both the NLNAC as well as the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education or the CCNE. The CCNE is an autonomous accrediting agency that seeks to ensure the quality of nursing programs. This was followed by Delaware State University located in Dover with a pass rate of about seventy percent.¬† You also had the Wesley College in Dover having a pass rate of about sixty percent. The Wesley College program is accredited by the NLNAC. ¬†Other institutions that have accreditation for their nursing programs in Delaware include Beebe Medical Center and Wilmington University.
